Questions about downloading and installing

Direct answers before you install the app.

Yes, downloading the app is free. Signing in needs a Wasla account, and the subscription starts from the basic plan.

iPad and iPhone on iOS 15.1 or newer, and Android 9 or newer including cashier hardware such as Sunmi. The back office runs in any browser.

Yes. Selling and issuing invoices continue while the connection is down, and orders sync to the cloud as soon as it returns.

It is the same app, signed by Wasla either way. The direct download helps when the device has no app store, as with some cashier hardware.

Yes. Invoices issued from Wasla POS meet the e-invoicing requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Updates arrive automatically when you open the app with an internet connection. For a full reinstall, download it from the install page and install over the old one — no data is lost.

Allow your browser to install apps from that message, then go back and finish the install. It appears on Android devices installing the file without an app store; it is an Android security setting, not an error in the app.
